What is Givember?

Created in 2015 in Dumfries and Galloway, Givember is an annual non-profit give back movement to encourage acts of kindness across the region throughout November and December to directly oppose the approaching commercialism and debt trap of Black Friday and Christmas.

Givember is about giving in alternative, non-financial ways that everyone can get involved with. For example; giving back to the environment, the community, and even small random acts of kindness. By looking after each other and the world around us we hope to cloud the month in a sparkling ray of happiness.

Use the hashtag and join in with the Givember Movement!
